C.O. Consulting Psychology brings psychology to the forefront in understanding human behaviours in the career space, with the primary goal of helping people use their best forms of psyche to produce optimal results. The C.O. Model incorporates various approaches to determine psychological well being, including industrial and applied psychology, neuroscientific principles, as well as forensic good practice. The practice is run by Industrial Psychologist, Charlene Omrawo. Its foundation is made from core value principles of service excellence, stringent ethical conduct and confidentiality. Charlene Omrawo is a seasoned Industrial Psychologist whose focus lies in the understanding and development of people in organisations. She has a Masters’ Degree in Industrial Psychology (UCT) and is currently registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa. Prior to this, she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Neuro-, Clinical and Industrial Psychology, allowing her to deepen her practice as a Psychologist. Charlene consults on various areas of psychology in the workplace, including extensive work in career psychology, psychological assessment, coaching, learning and development as well as life orientation. Furthermore, she invests a considerable amount of time and expertise in the forensic space, with particular interest in understanding the effect of career psychology within the justice system. To this end, she focuses on the study and investigation into career paths and progressions of individuals, providing expert opinions into legal matters at hand. Her work experience over the years, which also bears reference to her credibility as an expert witness, entails footings in state / governmental affairs, corporate entities, private consulting as well as in academic endeavours.

A prominent and very focused area in psychology pertains to the need for career specialists to give input into civil cases within the justice system. Drawing from experience in career psychology, a considerable amount of time goes into the practice of forensic psychology.
